Mix Veg Kadai With Karamat Red Gravy [Recipe]

  • 200 to 220gm mix veg, (blanched)
  • 1 small medium green capsicum, julienned
  • 1tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • ½tsp green chilli paste
  • 80gm chopped onion (optional)
  • 50gm chopped tomato (optional)
  • 1tsp kitchen king masala (garam masala optional)
  • 1/2 tsp kasuri methi
  • 2tbsp cooking cream
  • 2 to 3 tbsp oil
  • 1tsp kadai masala (prepared with roasted coriander seed, dry red chilli & cumin)
  • 150gm karamat red gravy (cooked)
  • 50gm karamat brown gravy, cooked (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander for garnishing



  • In pan heat oil, then add ginger, garlic & chilli paste and saute till their row aroma disappears.
  • Add onion, and saute till transparent.
  • Add the kadai masala & chopped tomato, stir well and saute for few minutes.
  • Add the karamat red & brown gravy and stir well, simmer on a low flame.
  • Add the capsicum and simmer for another 1 to2 minutes on a low to medium flame.
  • Add water if required, add crushed kasuri methi and kitchen king and stir.
  • Add the mix vegetables, stir gently.
  • Add cream; just stir the cream gently in the gravy.
  • Adjust the seasoing with salt and chiili powder if requird.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves & cream.
