Methi Mutter Malai is a classic North Indian dish served with Indian Bread or Roti. It is very mild in taste but very delicious with right mix of spices. It is for people who doesn’t like their curry too spicy! Ingredients used in this curry, especially “Methi” is really good for health. Here is a recipe specially for you guys!

180gms green peas (blanched)
30-40gm fresh fenugreek, slightly fried
2tbsp ghee or butter
2tbsp ginger, garlic & chilli paste
1tsp cumin seeds
2tsp green raw fennel seeds
pinch of turmeric powder
1-2 bay leaves
½ tsp green cardamom powder
½ inch cinnamon stick
¾ cup milk
pinch of nutmeg powder
180gm karamat white gravy, cooked
sugar & salt as required
Crush cumin seeds & fennel seeds together and keep it aside.
Heat butter or ghee in thick bottom pan.
Add bay leaves & cinnamon sticks, saute for a few minutes.
Add ginger, garlic & chilli paste, saute till row their aroma disappears.
Add karamat white gravy and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add turmeric powder and grounded masala in it.
Add milk, cream & stir well. Add blanched vegetables & fenugreek in it and cook for another few seconds.
Add cardamom powder & nutmeg powder mix well, adjust the seasoning with salt & sugar as required and turn off the flame.
Garnish with fresh cream and serve hot.
